Recently opened / new hospitals (2024-25)
1. Woodlands Health Campus
Opened December 2023, first patients admitted then, fully operational in 2024.
Combined acute + community hospital + long-term care. Up to 1,800 beds capacity when fully expanded.
2. Singapore General Hospital Emergency / National Neuroscience Institute Building
Opened December 2024 with 80 beds; additional 70 beds to come when fully operational in 2025.

3. Alexandra Hospital Redevelopment
The current Alexandra Hospital (about 300 beds) is being redeveloped into a bigger hospital (~1,300 beds).
Will include upgraded emergency department, ICU, operating theatres, high-rise buildings, etc. Scheduled to progressively open from ~2028.
4. Eastern General & Community Hospitals (EGH Campus) at Bedok North
Purpose-built “phygital” hospital campus combining acute + community care, including rehab, palliative, dementia care etc.
About 1,400 beds, opening around 2029-2030.
5. New Hospital in Tengah
An integrated general + community hospital being planned for Tengah Town to serve the western region
